Ruby Morgan, Age 93 of Blountville, TN passed away December 25, 2010 at Indian Path Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1917 in Sullivan County to the late Soloman L. Cole and Edna Adelaine Harr. She is a lifelong resident of Sullivan County.

Ruby was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Blountville, TN until her marriage then she became a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. She was employed at Dixie Maid Bakery and also Modern Laundry in Kingsport, TN, most of her life she was a home maker.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William George Morgan Sr., Son, William George Jr., Grandson Christopher Ray Morgan, Brothers; Rufus Cole, “Dutch” Ben Roy Cole, Lynn Cole, Lonnie Earl Cole, Joe Cole, Robert “Bob” Cole, Sisters; Arlena Cole Weaver, Mildred Cole Hunt, Mabel Cole Browder, Ollie Pearl Cole Anderson and Rosie Grace.

Survivors include her son Kenneth “Hot Rod” Morgan of Blountville, TN, Grandchildren, Amanda Morgan, Sonya Morgan, Donna Morgan; Great-Grandchildren, Allen Selby, Stephen Selby, Joshua Miller; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Grace Ann Morgan, Kayleigh Miller and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 7:00 pm with Pastor Ed McClain and Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating. Friends may also visit the home anytime at 1197 Island Road, Blountville, TN.

Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 1:00 pm in East Lawn memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tommy Ashbrook, David Ashbrook, Johnny Harr, Wayne Browder, H.J. Anderson, Danny Anderson and Vance Cole.
