As part of a military family, Stacey spent her childhood in several places, including Berlin, Germany; Fort Knox, Kentucky; and Columbus, Georgia.
Stacey cherished her family deeply and spent many treasured years with her son, Presley and her mother, Donna Prater in Kingsport as well as her grandmother, Helen Watts in Blountville, Tennessee. Stacey was known for her gentle heart, her resilience, compassion, and her deep love for her animals. She supported animal welfare causes and advocated for the mission of organizations such as the ASPCA. Her dad and sisters remember her beautiful laugh, goofy dancing, fun personality, and love for country music.
Stacey had several close knit family members and friends. Stacey was a loving wife, mother, and aunt, a loyal sister, a cherished daughter, niece, and cousin. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Frazier; her son, Presley Tankersley; her parents, Robert “Bob” Prater and Donna Prater; and her sisters, Josie Prater (nephew-Kylen Ketron) and Brandi Prater Norris (nephews-Harrison Norris and Hayden Norris)
She fought many battles with her health but never complained and was strong through it all. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the many medical professionals who cared for Stacey throughout her long health battles. Their dedication, compassion, and steadfast support meant more than words can express.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Blvd., Kingsport, TN 37664.
Stacey may be absent from our sight for now, but the love she shared and the memories we hold will remain forever in our hearts. Her kindness, courage, and gentle spirit leave a legacy that will continue to bless those who knew and loved her.
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
—Romans 8:38–39
