William Robert “Bob” Perry
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Robert “Bob” Perry, age 83, on March 18, 2026.
Born on January 31, 1943, in Kingsport, Tennessee, Bob was a lifelong resident of the area, living most of his life in Bloomingdale. He was an avid truck driver for over 45 years and concluded his career as an owner-operator in 2005.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, William Kenneth Perry; his mother, Kate (Dalton) Perry; and his brother, Jon B. Perry.
He is survived by his son, Brian Perry (Carrie); his daughter, Amy Louthan (James); his grandchildren, Aaron Perry (Haley), Jacob Perry, Olivia Perry, and Nikki Louthan; as well as five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in the Garden of the Good Shepherd on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Autism Society or the Breast Cancer Society.
