

Agapito R. Treviño, age 54, a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on April 11, 1957 in Kingsville to Augustin Treviño and Leonor Rios Treviño. Mr. Treviño was employed as a painter for the Corpus Christi Independent School District.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie Treviño of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Patricia (Richard) Vasquez of Corpus Christi; parents, Augustin Treviño and Leonor Rios Treviño of Kingsville; two brothers, David (Barbara) Treviño and Armando (Corina) Treviño, both of Kingsville; five sisters, Janie (Jesus) Gutierrez, Angie Treviño, Margie (Eloy) Hernandez, Mattie (Noe) Zamora and Rosie (Liberty) Garza, all of Kingsville; and two grandchildren, Mia Vasquez and Antonio Vasquez, both of Corpus Christi.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel, Kingsville. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Luis Garcia officiating.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1400 Brookshire Drive, Kingsville, with Fr. Romeo Salinas as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
