Alicia M. Arce

Alicia M. Arce of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the age of 90. She was born on May 12, 1922 in Ben Bolt, Texas, to Arelio and Adela Martinez. Alicia devoted her life to making a home for her family. She was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church and also served with the Catholic Daughters of America. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Alicia was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Arce and her son, Larry Arce.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons: Oscar (Sally) Arce of Houston, Texas, Roy (Dinah) Arce of Austin, Texas, and Red (Lynn) Arce of Houston; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Chamberlain Cemetery.
