

Clarence Walter Kubsch, longtime resident of Bishop, Texas, passed away April 15, 2011, in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Kubsch was a farmer and contractor in Bishop, Texas, for most of his life. He was born January 2, 1924, in The Grove, Texas, to Walter Kubsch, and Mary Dutschmann Kubsch. Clarence was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bishop and had lived some of his retirement years on Lake Mathis where he and his wife of 67 years, Nathalie Hoff Kubsch, enjoyed fishing, canasta with family, and hosting the Hoff family reunion for many years. He was preceded in death by his precious granddaughters: AshLea O'Neal Dodd and Melanie Diane Kubsch. He is survived by his wife, Nathalie; sons: Clarence (Carole) Kubsch Jr. and Delmer (Andrea) Kubsch, and daughters: Lynette (Randy) Shierry and Cynthia (Jim) Slater; Mr. Kubsch loved and was so proud of his seven grandsons: Bryan(Julie) Kubsch, Kyle (April) Kubsch, Jacen Kubsch, John Kubsch, Eric (Maria) Shierry, Steven Shierry, and Wes Shierry, and his six great-grandchildren; Mr. Kubsch is also survived by his brother, Alan (Betty) Kubsch, and sisters: Florence Adkins and Waldean (Kenneth) Richter, and beloved brother and sisters-in-law: Floyd and Ernestine Hoff and Dora Mae Richter; he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Bishop, Texas, on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Bishop, Texas, on Tuesday , April 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., burial to follow at Restland Memory Park, also in Bishop.
