
Elvira “Pinky” Deanda Trevino of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on Monday, May14, 2012, at the age 94. She was born on September 30, 1917, in Alfred, Texas, to Tiburcio and Rita Lamb Deanda. As Pinky was growing up, she resided in Orange Grove, Texas. She later moved to Kingsville where she was a devoted homemaker. Pinky was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove, Texas, for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Trevino; her son, Pablo Trevino, Jr.; sisters, Teresa Olivarez, Maria Mendoza Lupe Bernal and Jacoba Gamez; one brother, Tiburcio Deanda Jr.; and her parents. Pinky leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters: Mary Foster of Riviera, Texas, Aurora (Reece) Campbell of Kingsville, Minerva (Gene) Beckerle of Evansville, Indiana, and Carole (Ralph) Saccoccia of Mesa, Arizonia; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Pro Union Cemetery in Orange Grove. Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
