Feliciano R. Gonzalez

Feliciano R. Gonzalez, age 74, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Kingsville, Texas in the presence of his family and the Lord. He was born on August 23, 1936 to Tomas Gonzalez and Antonia Rodriguez Gonzalez in Realitos, Texas (Duval County). Feliciano was raised in the state of Texas in Kleberg County during the end of the Great Depression in 1936. He was very well known and recognized in his community for his lifelong skills in the trades of auto body repair and painting. Feliciano was also well known as an experienced rancher, cattleman and Wild Life Manager. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Maria Elicia Gonzalez of Kingsville, Texas; two sons, David G. (Yolanda) Gonzalez of Keller, Texas and Daniel G. (Diana) Gonzalez of Austin, Texas; sister Cristela Gonzalez of Palestine; two brothers, Felix (Yolanda) Gonzalez of Port Lavaca, Texas and Antonio (Marta) Gonzalez of Victoria, Texas; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous and nephews.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville . Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kingsville.

Interment will follow at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery in Kingsville, Texas.
