George Stanley Gaines

George Stanley Gaines, age 51, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Kingsville. He was born on September 15, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas to Eugene Jordan Gaines and Earlene Ruth Love Gaines. Mr. Gaines was an oil field worker and employed for various oil companies in the South Texas area. He also was employed with Bill Arnold Moving and Storage Company in Kingsville. Mr. Gaines was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Victoria Gaines of Kingsville; two daughters, Savana Lynn Gaines and Amber Earlene Gaines, both of Kingsville; two sons, Victor Gaines of Kingsville and Nicholas Keith Gaines of Oklahoma; mother, Earlene Ruth Gaines of Oklahoma; two brothers, Charlie David Gaines of Kingsville and Johnny Gaines of Oklahoma; four sisters, Jennie Gaines of Oklahoma, Debbie Carlson and Sherry Lynn Gaines, both of Houston, Texas and Linda Gaines of Riviera, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2009 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Earley officiating. Burial with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Military Funeral Detail will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
