Jose Salazar Mendoza

Jose Salazar Mendoza, age 63, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born September 9, 1949 in Kingsville to Domingo P. Mendoza and Maxine Salazar Mendoza. Mr. Mendoza was employed as a welder for various welding companies in the Kingsville area. He was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Mendoza was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Hernandez; and parents.

Mr. Mendoza is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diana Mendoza of Kingsville; one son, John Ray Mendoza of Kingsville; three daughters, Debra Denise Mendoza and Dorothy Mendoza, both of Kingsville, and Lisa Quintanilla of Premont, Texas; two brothers, Joel Mendoza (Lorena) of Alice, Texas and Jaime Mendoza of Ricardo, Texas; two sisters, Selma Gonzalez (Arturo) of Kingsville, Letty Mendoza of Alice; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Public visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
