Erma Theresa Gallagher

January 20, 1935 – June 13, 2013

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Erma Gallagher on Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Kipling, Saskatchewan. Mom is survived by her sons: Harvey, Brian, and Robert (Debbie); daughter LaVerne (Greg); grandchildren James (Stephanie), Chadd (Amy), Ashton, and Geoffrey; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, one sister, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Jimmy, a son Douglas, daughter-in-law Beryl, parents Jim and Eva Balogh, husband Lawrence, and sister Mary. We will remember Mom for her lively personality and keen fashion sense. She was passionate about her flowers and gardening, spending hours in the yard. Most of all she loved her family and friends. Mom's door was always open to them. She truly was the heart of this family. During her illness she faced each day with courage, dignity and strength. Through it all she managed a sense of humour. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Anne’s R.C. Church, Kipling, SK. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. Hector Seville. Prayers will be held in St. Anne’s R.C. Church Monday evening at 7:00. Interment in St. Anne’s Parish Cemetery.
