JAMES (JIM) BARATH August 25, 1934 August 14, 2011 On Sunday, August 14, 2011, James (Jim) Barath beloved husband of Edith Barath passed away after a brief and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 76 years. Jim is survived by his loving wife of fifty years Edith and their family, one son Terry (Della) Barath and their children Sarah (Dorian) and great grandchild Taylen of Regina, Jason (Teri) of Grand Prairie, AB and David (Tina)and great grandchild Kara of Kipling, three daughters; Norma (Brett) Ferch of Kipling and their children Brittney, Braeden and Justin, Tammy (Graham) Dayle of Kipling and their children Jonelle (Scott) of Langdon, AB and Coelton of Kipling and Wanda (Darren) Prentice, of Airdrie, AB. and their children Melissa (Nathan) Churko and great grandchild Calli of Martensville, SK and Vanessa (Les) Oldhaver of Estevan, SK , three sisters: Helen Doka, Kipling; Violet (Bert) Daku, Kennedy, SK., and Margaret (Alvin) Abramson, Kipling, one brother Alex (Dianne) Barath, Kipling; two sisters-in-law, Jean Barath, Whitewood, SK., and Linda Siebel, Wawota, SK. Also, sisters in law Marilyn (Fred) Shackleton, Donna (Tom) Gall, Brenda (Lorne) Anheliger, Denise (Jean Paul) Istace, Judy (Blair) Langley and brothers in law Albert Wilton and Jim (Grace) Wilton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Roza Barath, grandchildren Teighan Dayle and Colin Barath in infancy, two brothers, Louis in infancy and Andrew Jr. Barath, sister Wilma Friday, two brothers-inlaw, Larry Friday and Emil Doka, also his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Mabel Wilton. The funeral service will be held in the Kipling Community Centre, Kipling, SK., on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Barta officiating, Interment in Kipling Town Cemetery. If friends so desire contributions to the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina SK. S4T 1A3 or Kipling Hospital Palliative Care may be tokens of remembrance.
