Billy Bob Marine of Kissimmee, Florida, was born in Burkburnett Texas on Aug 11, 1938,He went home to rest in Eternal Peace on April 9,2012.He is survived by his wife Mary Helen Marine and his daughters Angela Marie Marine and Mary Patricia Marine.
Billy Bob was born to Thelma Marie Simmons Marine and William Elbert Marine. He was their Middle child. Billy has a younger sister, Brenda. Billy (or “Bud” as his friends and family called him ) lead a very active life. He served in the US Army and earned the rank of sergeant. After serving our country, he went on to work for Preston Dairy as a truck driver. From there "Bud" worked for Liton Industries in Pasagulia Miss, as a Master Election for offshore oil rigs. He then enjoyed his work as a truck driver for John B Barbour Trucking Company and L.D Burns Trucking Company.
While He worked for John B Barbour, he brought Industrial washers and dryers to the Walt Disney World Resort and drove his truck right down Main Street. He would joke about that every time he was in the Magic Kingdom park. He also received awards for safe driving and received a Hobbs Knight of The Road Proclamation, for removing a truck from the scene of a fire preventing considerable property damage and saving several lives.
After moving from Texas to Florida," Bud" enjoyed going to the local theme parks with his family and friends. He especially loved going to the Walt Disney World Resort at Christmas time. He enjoyed going to hear the candlelight processional at Epcot, and he also enjoyed the flower power concerts during the flower and garden festival at Epcot.
Billy Bob was predeceased by his parents, Thelma and William, his sister Gloria and his infant son, Billy Wallis.
He will have a viewing at GRISSOM FUNERAL HOME. 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741, on FRIDAY APRIL 13 2012, from 2pm-6pm
