Bruce William Virgin passed away on Wednesday April 3rd, 2024 at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital at the age of 66. He was born April 19th, 1957 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents William and Ercie Virgin. His divorcees included Glenda Breckenridge and Judith Virgin, whom he had one son by marriage, Michael Lodge and one by birth, Joseph Virgin. He is survived by his Wife, Darlene Virgin, his daughters by marriage, Anecia Pearson and Andrea Manzaro, his two sons and his grandchildren.
Bruce spent most of his youth in Fort Myers, Florida, where he became a decorated Boy Scout and would graduate from Fort Myers High. He enjoyed working in selling clothing and also became skilled as a tailor. Bruce would eventually open multiple clothing stores in Treasure Island, a time he would recount both fondly and regrettably, as the stores were only successful for a short time. After the stores closed, he would move to selling items door to door, working as a salesman for the Avon company, where he would meet a variety of people. To make ends meet, and because he prided himself in being a reliable and trustworthy person, he would become a security guard off and on for many years. Eventually he would find work continuing his love of selling clothes at the mall, until eventually going back and retiring from security as he became older.
Bruce had a love of meeting and talking to new people. He held a high respect for first responders and those in the armed services. He enjoyed discovering places and having adventures. He enjoyed talking business, especially for things that weren’t his business. He was obsessed with money, even though it eluded his grasp. Towards the end, he held many regrets and had a few joys.
