Elizabeth Annette Connelly

Elizabeth (Beth) Annette Connelly, age 61, of Kissimmee, FL formally of New Philadelphia, PA, passed away on July 29, 2013 after a brief illness. Beth was born December 20, 1951 in Pottsville, PA to William Pfeil and to Margaret Pfeil DeSanti Stevenson.

Beth was a 1969 graduate of Saint Clair Area High School and a 1972 graduate of the Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing. Beth obtained her Masters Degree in Psychiatric Nursing from and was nearing the completion of her Doctoral Degree in Nursing. Beth was active in her career up until her time of death. She possessed over 40 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Beth was also a devoted member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in St. Cloud Florida.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Joseph P Connelly Jr. and her father, William J Pfeil.

Surviving are her mother, Margaret Pfeil DeSanti Stevenson, Orwigsburg, PA, her son, Joseph P Connelly III, of Kissimmee FL, two uncles, Carmen DeSanti of New Philadelphia, PA and Frank DeSanti of Tucson, AZ, a granddaughter, Billie Augustine Theuekauf of Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia, a brother, Dennis and his wife, Emma Pfeil of Pine Grove, PA, sisters, Michele Pfeil Covelusky of Wyomissing, PA, and Lisa Pfeil McGovern of Pottsville, PA. Surviving nephews include Daniel Pfeil of Fredericksburg, MD, Jarrod, Brad, and Wesley Ulsh of Pine Grove, PA, Keith Pfeil of Hawley, PA and Gregory McGovern of Tremont, PA. Surviving nieces include Angela Pfeil Hamm of Clamtown, PA and Jessica McGovern of Pottsville, PA. In addition to the immediate family, she is also survived by her very close friend, Robbin Chapman of Kissimmee, FL.

A memorial service will be held at the families’ convenience with a mass of Christian burial at Holy Family Church in New Philadelphia, PA and interment in Holy Family Cemetery, New Philadelphia, PA.
