Born in Eunice, LA, she came to Florida with her husband in 1955. Continuing her education she completed her AA degree in Fashion Design at Brevard Community College. She enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, gardening and painting and work with photo restoration on her computer. She had worked in the clinic in Johnson Jr. High, and worked as a florist and seamstress locally. Mrs. Chandler was devoted to the Lord and was a member of Eau Gallie First Baptist Church since 1960 and had worked as a Sunday School teacher and church clerk there.

She was predeceased by her parents Murphy Miller and Mary Lillian Naquin. She is survived by her husband David B. Chandler and her children Susan Reininghaus and her husband John and David Chandler Jr. and 3 grandchildren, Beau Chandler, Corey Chandler and Angel Gibson and four great-grandchildren.
