

"Marcia Black Crabtree, 96 of Orlando, FL passed away Friday, January 12, 2018. Her 96 years were filled with love, family and passion. Born in Nelsonville, Ohio, she also lived in the Columbus area, Lancaster, Wooster and Urbana before moving to Kissimmee, FL in 1988. Marcia was a graduate of Capital University in 1939 with a degree in Elementary Education. At Capital, she met the love of her life, Harold Lee Crabtree, and they married in 1943. Marcia was most proud of being a substitute teacher and homemaker, and had a passion for politics, government work during World War II, school bond issue, TWIG, Legends, Women’s Club, knitting bears for sick children, gardening, playing golf and tennis. Marcia is predeceased by Harold and survived by her two sons, Robert (Sharon) and Thomas, three granddaughters Erin, Nicole and Robyn, great granddaughter Sophia, nephews Doug Evans, Kurt Black, Michael Black, Mark Black; nieces Kerrie Evans and Kristine (Evans) Gainer held a special place in her heart, as well as their children and grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2pm at Grissom Funeral Home in Kissimmee, FL.
