Muriel Glacel Smith

Muriel Glacel Smith, age 87 of Kissimmee, FL, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Muriel was born on February 28, 1926 in New York, NY to Edwin and Ethel (Haines) Glacel. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Kissimmee, FL) a past Grand Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and former President of the Orlando Poodle Club. Along with her late Husband of 52 years, Caldwell Allen “Bud” Smith Jr., Muriel is preceded in death by her Son Caldwell Allen Smith III and Brother Edwin "Sonny" Glacel. Muriel is survived by Daughter in-Law Ana Smith; Grandchildren Gretchen (Mark) Fitzgerald, Caldwell Allen (Dianna) Smith IV and Anita Smith; Great Grandchildren Hunter Moorman, Cassandra Smith and Giana Fitzgerald; Nieces; Nephews and additional family that will miss her dearly. A visitation for Muriel will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Grissom Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Kissimmee, FL) at 10:00am with Bishop Dale Bohman officiating.
