He was born September 30th, 1925 in Plainfield, Indiana to the late Orvel and Edith Hendrickson.
Bill met his bride, Jeanne, on the best blind date he ever had, and they married on July 22, 1950.
Bill was more than a teacher, rising to the important role of school principal. And, he was involved in their church, directing the choir. Bill loved music, and played instruments himself –trombone, tuba and piano to name a few—but, his most versatile instrument was his voice. Not only did he sing at weddings and in the choir, but Bill became quite a valuable sports announcer around town: for the Evansville Triplets, many high school sports, other public addresses and he spent some time as a disc jockey for WGBF.
Bill and his family shared a joyful life together.
Until they are together again, they will miss him~
Bill is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children, Nancy, Joshua , Kristofer and daughter-in-law, Bettye.
