Barbara Anne Oxland

OXLAND, Barbara (Barb) Anne (nee Evans) August 26, 1960 - October 25, 2012 Barb Oxland, beloved wife of Peter Oxland of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at the age of 52 years, after a courageous battle with a rare form of cancer. Barb was born in Guelph, and raised in Kitchener. She graduated from Conestoga College, moved to Toronto, then London and nine years ago to Calgary. Besides her loving husband of twenty-eight years, Barb is survived by three children, Kevin, Jenna and Megan and her mother Marilyn Evans (Donald Dotzert). She was predeceased by her father, Howard Evans and her brother, Cameron Evans. Barb will be forever remembered as an angel who touched many people's lives in a loving, caring and magical way. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Saturday, November 24th, from 2-4 p.m. Donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre as expressions of sympathy through the Funeral Home.
