Boris (Nick) Nicoloff

At Lisaard House on Friday, September 4th, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side, aged 92 years. Born in 1923, Boris came to Canada from Bulgaria at the age of 2. He was a World War II veteran and member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #530. Nick was a long standing employee of Labatt’s Brewery in Waterloo. Loving father of Paul and his wife Debra of Kitchener. Proud Grandpa to Dana Grenier (Claude), Scott Driver, Nadia Crystal, T.J. Crystal, Maria Neufeld (Nery), Alex Perez (Nicole), Michael Nicoloff and Braedan Nicoloff . Great-grandpa to Aidan, Cierrah, Julia, Jayden, Ashia, Darius, Tianna, Milena, Camilla, Marianna, Maya and Noah who was born the day Grandpa passed away. Brother to Rose Lorentz (Oscar), Nikki Climie, Mary Wilson and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, his wife Margaret (Peggy) in 2005 and three daughters; Brenda Crystal (1996), Debra Driver (2001) and Donna Neufeld (2006). A celebration of Nick’s Life will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home (621 King Street W, Kitchener) on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 1-4 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Lisaard House.
