David Kurt

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Dave at the age of 59. He was abruptly taken on February 18, 2014 with his wife Marianne Hippe at his side. He was a devoted son to Esther and Nelson Kurt of Durham. Predeceased by his sister Darlene Kurt. He also leaves behind sister Denise (Pat) Turner of Durham, brother Jeff (Tina) Kurt of Chapleau and sister Joanne Kurt of Hanover. He is also fondly remembered by four nieces, one nephew and their families. David was retired from Kitchener Wilmot Hydro. He kept himself busy playing horseshoe, hunting, golfing and vacationing at the cottage with his wife Marianne. Dave’s kind and easy going nature made him loved by all; he was uniquely special and will leave a great void in the lives of all that knew him. The Memorial Service will be held on March 21, 2014 at 11 am. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7.
