Dorothy "Dottie" Walsh

WALSH, Dorothy (Dottie) R. At St. Mary's Hospital, after a brief illness. The former Dorothy Rose Kienapple, aged 92 years. Dottie was a member of St. Teresa's Church. Loving mother to Sandra Meierl of Port Moody, B.C., John and his wife Patti of Kitchener, Joy and her husband Mike Ulakovic of Cambridge and Paul and his wife Barbara of Waterloo, beloved grandma to Vickie Parks, Richard and Christina Meierl, Christina and her husband Mike Acton, David and Julie Walsh, and Emma Ulakovic, two great-granddaughters, Bobbi Jo Parks and Mykenzie Acton and two great-great-grandchildren Kane and Dayton Parks, sister to Joseph Kienapple and his wife Bernice of New Hamburg and Helen Schiel of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents Frederick Kienapple and Sedora Mierowski, her first husband Lorne Stevens and her second husband John Walsh in 1993, her daughter Sharon in 1992, one sister Loretta and three brothers Edwin, John and Alfie Kienapple. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, from the chapel at 10:00 a.m., with Father Thomas Moisan officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre, followed by interment in Woodland Cemetery.
