Kipfer: Edward A. At the Grand River Hospital, Freeport Health Care Centre, on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014, after a brief illness. Edward Arthur Kipfer, aged 84 years. Dear father to Cathy (John Gerger), Patty (Bob Blanchet), Sandy (Steve Bainbridge), all of Kitchener, Bob of Astorville and Mary of Troy Michigan, beloved Popa to Jason, Melissa, Steven, Chris, Robbie, Jeremy, Jessica, Jake, Shaun and Shane, great grand Popa to Dallas, Madylin and Emma, Lynden, Michaela and Alton, Brock and Mya, loving brother to Lester and his wife Marie, Ray and his wife Mary, Jim and his wife Janet, Esther Hahn and Marie and her husband Stanley Gingerich. Predeceased by his parents, Serenus Kipfer and Lena Lichty, his wife the former Jewell Schumacher in 2006, five brothers Wilbur, Harold, Walter, Robert and Charles. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 am with Father Tom Moisan officiating. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery and donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
