Hello Yasmin, you don't know me but I just found out about Peter today. I work at a company in downtown Kitchener called 'Coreworx'. Peter used to come in and assist us with our furniture needs. For some reason, I just thought of him today and wondered why we hadn't seen him for a while. Such sad news. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have fond memories of Peter...he was always so friendly and willing to help us out. May God richly bless you and your family. The Lord is faithful. Take good care, Sally Sapsford

I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Pete's passing.  I had the privilege to be his team mate on the Black Scots football tea.  Just a lovely guy and a great team mate.

Had to share one funny story-I attended RMCin Kingston and Pete saw me walking down the street.  He called my name but I was late for curfew so I dived over a bush into someone's front lawn and hid!  Pete walked up and down the street calling my name until I was convinced it was safe to come out!  Pete wasn't there to get me in trouble-just wanted to say hi (by the way my girlfriend now wife Joan was with me that night and also dived over the bush!)

Pete was an old friend from Sir John A.  I was visiting TO this week from States and sad that I missed his celebration of life.  Pete was a good "egg" - my privilege to have known him.

It has been sometime since I had the privilege of fellowshipping with this dear brother. When I met Peter during his time of ministry in Kingston it was life changing .
I also went to WOLBI due to the leading of our Lord mainly through this faithful brother.
My prayers are with those he loved and realize a person like Peter leaves a big hole in peoples lives.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Yasmin & Family.  Peter was a wonderful person who celebrated life and all those around him.  As an old high school buddy it was an honour and a highlight to catch up with Peter recently at the Mac Reunion.   Until we meet again.

I did not know Pete for a long time but there was a few things that were very evident in the time I did; his love for his family and Yasmin, how strong of a man he is and how even in his final days, he was always thinking of others.

Peter was a great brother and speaker. We all never forget the wonderful time spent with him at our church and our last retreat at Camp Crossroards.

We never had the opportunity to spend a great amount of time together, since distance was a factor, but we always enjoyed our visits with Peter. He was quick to bring us up to speed on his family and proud of their accomplishments. His smile and up beat personality will always be remembered. May God be your strength and comfort.

Peter was an amazing person.  He laughed easily, and had a positive perspective on life.  I appreciated, and will miss his wise and encouraging words.  So glad to know you two as a couple Yasmin, such pure and authentic love for you and for his family.

From Jamaica, I express my condolences to Peter's Family. When I attended London Baptist Bible College in 1982-84, Peter became my friend. One day he took me to the mail and bought me a suit, a love gift I never forget. He was the kind of man that made Christianity come alive. He has touch the lives of many persons. We will meet in the Great Reunion of heaven.

I'm so sad to hear of Peter's passing. I knew Peter from high school and have lots of good memories of our time at Sir John A Macdonald. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I met Peter first, when he taught a Bible study at LRC recently on the Psalms.  It was obvious that he loved God's Word.  I appreciated his willingness to be open and honest about life.  I count it a privelge to have been in his class.

So very sorry to hear of Peter's passing.  Carol and I spent many memorable hours with him although it was several years ago.  He was always a great man of character (and wit). While we are saddened at the loss, we also rejoice in the knowledge that this is his "homecoming" and the fulfillment of his life of faith.  God Bless

Our family had the privilege of getting to know Peter and Yasmin for just a short time in 2010 when we stayed at the O'Gorman's house.  You were both so friendly and welcoming and we hold fond memories of our time on Schneider Avenue. Our sincerest condolences to Peter's family.

Our deepest sympathies. Peter always asked about, when we bumped into each other at the market our daughter Amanda, whom he mentored at Grandview youth program. Peter played some ball hockey with us at Grandview.  He hadn't played much hockey before and decided that with a straight stick he could play left or right handed, which he did.  He was very competitive and gave no quarter.  He is already issued.

What a wonderful man Peter was!  What a joy to have known him. Through his guidance, warmth, wisdom and leadership, my wife, Baiba and I were  led into a real and lasting relationship with Jesus.  We wept when he left Faith Bible in Stratford in the 90s.  We weep again now, feeling a great loss and remembering our good friend.
