Mr. George Vendel Hutfluss

It is with tremendous sadness that the family announces the death of George Hutfluss of Kitchener in his 80th year. Devoted husband of 57 years to Marie Hutfluss (nee Reichenauer) and loving father of Dr. George Hutfluss (Cathie) of Winnipeg, John Hutfluss (Cathy) of Kitchener and Dr. Richard Hutfluss (Michele) of Manhiem. Dear grandfather to Katie, Alec, Nicholas, Eric, Andrew, Lisa and Amanda, George will be forever remembered by his cousin Martin Hutflusz (Terry) and family of Kitchener. George was a dedicated employee for more than 50 years of Krug Furniture, was a long time member of the Schwaben Club, and will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched. The entire Family extends a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of the Grand River Cancer Center, Freeport Hospital and Trinity Village for their care and understanding during this difficult time.

Celebration of the Life of George Vendel Hutfluss will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West on Thursday August 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will be at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
