Mr. James Ralph Padgett

Padgett, James "Ralph"- The family sadly announces the sudden passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother at his residence on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in his 80th year. Ralph was very active in the curling world. He served 12 years with the Thistle Club and for the last 23 years with the Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club. His other passion was his horses and was an active member of the Standard bred Canada.

Beloved husand and best friend to Isabelle. Loving father to David, Cheryl (Fred Callahan) of Toronto, Jim (Diane) of Kitchener, Colleen (Glen Playford) of Newmarket and Michael of Dundas. Dear Papa to Stacey, Nichole (Jay Desrocher), Kathy (Alex Frenzl), Lindsay, Christopher, Ashley and great-grandfather to Avery. At Ralph's request, cremation will take place. A public memorial service to celebrate Ralph's life will be held at the Dundas Valley Gold and Curling Club (10 Woodley's Lane, Dundas) at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Hamilton S.P.C.A. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
