Jean Adele Karges

Karges, Jean Adele – With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jean Karges on April 20, 2013 in her 89th year at the Lisaard House . She was surrounded by the love of her family. Mother of Wayne Karges (Gaye) and Donna Helm (Roger). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jeff (Paulette), Rick (Kim), Tracy (Tim), Nicole (Ryan), Scott (Leslie), Jenny, Bonnie and Kelly and great grandchildren who never failed to bring a smile to her face; Justin, Jaiden, J.T., Lauren, Braeden, Cody, Raeghan, Broedy, Brennan, Ava and Layla. Nothing meant more to her than her family, and of course her beloved pug Hailey. Predeceased by her loving husband Leonard (Lenny) Karges (1971), son Doug Karges (1999), parents Harry and Adele Huber and her only brother Donald Huber. Special and profound thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at the Lisaard House in Cambridge who provided her with such care and compassion and to the health care professionals who were so kind to our mother. Jean’s family will receive family and friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Tuesday, April 23 from 10:00 to 1:30 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Aloysius Church at 2:00 pm with Father Vijay Martin officiating. In memory of Jean, donations may be made to the Lisaard House in Cambridge through the funeral home. 519-745-9495.
