Kenneth Reid

With great sadness we announce that Ken Reid of Kitchener, 49 years of age passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by family and friends on Saturday May 17, 2014 after a short illness. Ken was a very proud Union Rep. for I.U.P.A.T., D.C. 46 Local 1824 and very active with W.W.D. & G. Building Trades Council.

Beloved husband of Florence (nee Jerrett), loving father of Nicole and Kyle Reid; dear son of Jeannette Reid (LaFlamme) ,brother of Janyce Reid, John Marynowycz and wife Lori, and sister Anne Marynowycz.

Ken is survived by his many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his father Allan Reid.

At Ken’s request cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Thursday May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A reception to follow at Conestoga Place, 110 Manitou Drive, Kitchener.
