Margaret Davenport Stone

With great sadness the family announced the death of Margaret Stone on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at Grand River Hospital Freeport Site in her 67th year. Much loved wife of the late Roger Stone (2005), Margaret will be dearly missed by her children Gail Grubb (Mike) of Kitchener and Ian Stone (Val) of Listowel. Loving grandmother to Daniel, Margaret is survived by her brother Keith Davenport and nephew Russell Shanks both of England. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Rose Davenport (nee Vaughan), and her nephew David. Margaret enjoyed travelling, especially on cruise ships and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. on Wednesday November 23rd from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate the life of Margaret Stone will be in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. If wished donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
