Maria Schertzer

Maria is survived by her sons, Mike and his wife Shirley of Waterloo, George Jr. and his wife Elaine of Baden and John and his wife Lynda of Conestogo. Proud and loving Grandma of 8 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Katharina Sturm and her husband Andreas. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John and Maria Muehsam and sister Susanna Scholler (2013) and her husband Steffan.

Friends will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West on Sunday from 3 - 5pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:30pm at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Ehlebracht officiating. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, and can be arranged by contacting the funeral home.
