Marion Irene Campbell Schmidt

Peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Friday, February 3, 2012 in her 91st year. Dearly loved wife of the late Reinhardt (Reiny) Schmidt (2010). Marion will be sadly missed by her daughters: Dr. Karen Acheson and her husband Cavan of Guelph, Dr. Nancy Schmidt and Paul Anonen of Toronto, and Kathryn Barth and her husband Gary of West Kelowna, B.C. Much loved grandmother to Kerry, Mark, Jeffery and Jason, and great grandmother to Rowan. Beloved sister of Jean Messeroll of London, Marion is predeceased by her parents: Jessie (nee Gillham) and William Campbell and her brothers Milton and Stanley. She graduated from Women’s College Hospital in 1943 and was a registered nurse in London and in Kitchener-Waterloo. Marion treasured her final nursing years in Student Health Services at W.L.U. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. on Monday February 6th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Rd. S. on Tuesday February 7th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tanya Ramer officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Mt.
