YANKE, Richard – With sadness we announce the passing of Richard Paul Yanke after a brief illness on October 26, 2014. Dearly loved brother of Carol Filipowitsch (Helmuth), Lynne Hare (Ron) and David Yanke (Rachel). Much loved uncle of Lisa, Mike, Julie, Jane, Sasha, Michel and Anya. Great Uncle of Morgan, Taylor, Brittany, Samantha, Alysha, Gwen, Brooke, Lily, Adelyn and Genevieve. Predeceased by his parents William and Doris Yanke and nephew David Hare. Richard enjoyed spending time with all his family and never missed a family function. He will be a much missed golf buddy of Lynne’s. A funeral service celebrating Richard’s life will be held on Friday, October 31 at 1:00 pm at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street W, Kitchener, 519-745-9495 with a reception to follow in the Family Centre.
