Ruth Collins

The former Leona Ruth Corbin aged 96 years.

Loving mother to Jim and his wife Mary and John and his wife Diane, dear grandma to Lisa McDonald, Rick and his wife Christina and Steve, and great grandma to Foster McDonald, Ryan and Carolyn, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Wilfred Corbin and Dorothy Bachus her beloved husband Reginald in 2000 and one brother Malcolm.

Ruth had many happy memories at Lake Belwood and was a member of the Silver Blades Skating Club.

Family and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 where parish prayers will be recited at 2:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:30 am from St. Mark’s Church, 55 Driftwood Dr., Kitchener with Father Don Sanvido officiating, interment will be in Parkview Cemetery and donations to the charity of your choice may be made as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home.
