SCHOLLER, Susanna Peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Lanark Heights in Kitchener in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Stefan (2000). Beloved mother of Linda Riemer (the late Gerry) and the late Hildegarde Ruhlman (1993). Susie will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Cybil Lawson (Pete), Christopher Riemer, Meranda Martin (Chris) and Marisa Hyland (Greg) and her great-grandchildren Emma and Jaimie Lawson and Xavier and Alexander Martin. She will be remembered by her sisters Kathie Sturm (Andy) and Maria Schertzer (the late George) and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Susie was born in Birk, Transylvania, a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and a longtime member of the Transylvania Club. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Lanark Heights for their wonderful care and compassion. Also many thanks to the recreation staff, the physio department and the restorative care that made such a difference in her well-being. Many thanks to Laura & Lawlor Therapy Support, to Julie for her weekly massage therapy and Sherry who made sure her care ran smoothly both at home and at Lanark, and those who helped in her care over the years.

Family and friends may visit the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Wednesday, May 1 from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 2 at 9:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, with reception to follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Peter's Lutheran Church and can be made through the funeral home 519-745-9495.
