Violet Margaret Brophy

Brophy, Violet Margaret – Born January 1, 1912, Died April 23, 2013. Predeceased by her first husband Edward Roberts (1979) and second husband Joseph Brophy (2000). Last surviving member of her family. Resident of Trinity Village Nursing Home. Dear mother of Elizabeth (Betty) Lackenbauer (Bruce), Phyllis Dobson (Len, deceased), Jean Alfano (Jim), John Roberts (Liz) and Wendy Roberts (partner Don). Remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Burial and family service will be held at a later date in Oliphant, Ontario. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener. 519-745-9495. The family wishes to thank the staff of Trinity Care, Oakridge Wing for the care and compassion given to Violet during her stay with them and also her friend and companion Dianne Howard for her many visits and treats she brought to Violet.
