Violet Simpson

Simpson, Violet – Violet Louise Simpson passed peacefully from this world to the next on November 4, 2013 in her 85th year. Vi was born in Kitchener on September 22, 1929 to Charles Tindall Simpson and his wife the former Violet Matilda “Tillie” Hertfelder. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Verna in infancy and Ruth (the late Bob) Tease. Vi is survived by her brothers Bill (Audrey), Ross (Ruth) and Charlie (Jean) and by sisters Evelyn (the late Hugh) Urbach and Mary Jane. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Vi worked at Economical Insurance for many years and was a long time member of Historic St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. A Funeral Service will be held at Historic St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 137 Queen Street, Kitchener on Friday, November 8 at 11:30 am. Visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Kitchener.
