Ada Ruth Barger

Ada Ruth Barger, age 69, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, March 13th, 2015. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved working in the nursery at Court South, enjoyed family gatherings, trips with her daughter, being “on the go,” sewing and crafting. Ruth will be deeply missed by all. She is preceded in death by husband, Franklin Barger and parents, Crockett and Cautella Dyer. She is survived by sons, Dwayne Barger, Greg Barger, and her loving and devoted daughter, Stacey Michelle Mendenhall, who was by her side through life until the end, sister, Ginny Johnson, 7 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17th, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Berry Highland West, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Berry Highland West Cemetery.
