Amos Luther Sentell passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. Luther was Music Director at Island Home Baptist Church for over 20 years and retired from Regions Bank after many years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loved the music ministry at Island Home Baptist Church. He was preceded by parents, Amos and Sarah Sentell; brother, Bob Sentell. Luther is survived by wife of 63 years, Betty Sentell; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Jeanne Sentell and daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Richard Gymburch; 5 grandchildren, James (Emily), Andrew, Erin (Daniel) Kincaid, Sarah and Matthew; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Louise Sentell; sister, Evelyn Aiken and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Tim Fleeger officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, December 21, 2018 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 2:00 pm Graveside service.
