Arthur "Danny" Sutherland

Arthur Daniel "Danny" Sutherland died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Danny would have been 64 next month. He fought a courageous battle with cancer but is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. He was married to the love of his life, Randy Butler Sutherland for more than 44 years. He served in the United States Navy and was a long time member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. He leaves to mourn his passing Randy, daughters Carrie Powell (Shane) and Lindsey Sutherland (Mikey); Parents, Jay and Evelyn Sutherland; Mother-in-law, Josephine Butler; Grandchildren: Brycen and Keaton Kidd, Makaylie and Maddie Kate Hutchison, Adley, Raylea and Jaydica Powell; Brothers, Eddie (Leila), Randy, Patrick (Brandi), former son in law, Chris Hutchison and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, numerous brothers and sisters in law. Visitation will be held at Weaver’s chapel Thursday, from 5-7 pm with service to follow. Rev. Conda McGinnis officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Friday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a 2:00 pm interment. Condolences may be left at weaverfuneralservices.com.
