HENDRIX, BARBARA JEANETTE - age 71 of Knoxville went home to be with her Lord on October 14, 2010. Born May 14, 1939, she was preceded in death by parents Hoyt E. and Naomi Whited. She is survived by husband Billy Jack Hendrix, daughters Debbie Barrs, Tammy Fowler and husband Greg, grandchildren Ryan Barrs, Shannon Barrs and wife Charity, Kelsie Fowler, David Fowler, great-grandchildren Nolen Barrs, Maddison Barrs, and Lydia Barrs, sisters Pat Jenkins, Evonne Knight, Connie Lane, brothers Charles Whited, Leonard (Chick) Whited, and Gary Whited. Family will receive friends Sunday 5-8 pm at Weaver Funeral Home. Mrs. Hendrix will lie in state Monday at Solway Church of God from 10-11 am with service to begin at 11:00 am. Rev. Earl Stinson, and Rev. A. J. Crawford officiating. Interment will follow service at Solway Church of God Cemetery.
