Barbara Ruth Pinkston

Barbara Ruth Pinkston, age 88, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Barbara was born December 30, 1932 to the loving parents, Paul H. and Mildred Pinkston. Barbara work and retired from Rocky Top Materials as an office manager. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Barbara loved to travel with Glenn Harrison, her loving companion for over 50 years.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Paul H. and Mildred Pinkston; her friend and companion of 50 years, Glenn Harrison; sister, Joni Lou Nine and husband Owen; brother, Howard Pinkston and niece, Lisa Marie Pinkston.

She is survived by her brother, Paul H. Pinkston Jr. and his wife Dorothy; niece and nephews, Diane Mark, Paul Nine, William Henderson, Paul Gregory, Scott Pinkston and Douglas Pinkston; sister in-law, Elizabeth Pinkston and several cousins.

Family and close friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee, Thursday March 4, 2021 for an 11:30 AM graveside service. Officiating, Rev. John Pinkston.
