Barbara's help was the reason Daddy was able to run Karns Grocery for so many years. She supervised the prep of his "world famous hotdogs" and deli sandwiches and helped with customers. She made a nice home for them and was a very good cook--especially her coconut cake. David and I and our families enjoyed many holidays at Barbara's and Daddy's house. Barbara also encouraged Daddy to join Grace Baptist Church which became so important in his life. I'm sure she was responsible for his being saved and baptized at Grace Baptist.  We are grateful to her for loving and taking care of Daddy.

We are so saddened to hear about Ms.  Barbara passing. We met her over 20 years ago in Bible study at Grace Baptist Church. Ms. Barbara had the best sense of humor. I Elaine, use to  ask her if she was up to something?  She would respond with a big smile and say who me?  There is no  doubt, she loved the Lord, her family, church family and friends. Our prayers and condolences are with the family. May God continue to keep his loving arms around each of you during and beyond this difficult time.
