children on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was an extraordinary
woman who provided a solid foundation for her family and
showed them all exceptional love and support.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, the love of
her life, and her grandson Steve, whom she adored. Betty is survived
by her four children; John, Robert (Debbie), Susan (Ralph)
and June and her grandchildren Tyson, Erika and Ben and great
granddaughter Savannah. Wilda, Wilma, Sue, Jan and Mark
have been friends that Betty considered family. Her hard headed
determination and unwavering love will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends at Berry Highland Memorial
Funeral Home on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 1:30 to 2:00 pm
with a service to follow in the chapel. Burial will be private at a
later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be
made to Tennova Hospice (www.tennovahomehealthtn.com).
