

David "Big Dee" Tyrone Fair, age 42, of Knoxville, TN passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 2, 2021. He attended both South Doyle and Science Hill High Schools. Big Dee loved and still loves his kids and family. He had a passion for loving others, being a role model and helping anyone in need. He was an amazing artist, talented leathersmith, enjoyed wood carving, working on and detailing cars and riding motorcycles. He loved his "Drip" and Tik Tok. He was known for saying "I know I'm sexy!" Big Dee lived life to the fullest and will be remembered for being "The King" and for leaving an enormous legacy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Stevens; mother, Bonita Fair and brother, Jeremy Stevens.
Big Dee is survived by fiancé, Brandi Akins; mothers of his children, Anjee Brewer, Jessica Carter, Amy Fair; children, Alexis Brewer, Mikala Fair, Brandon Fair, David Fair, Destini Fair, DeShawn Fair, Nathan Berrier, Anthony Berrier, Frankie Paredes, Brooklyn Paredes; brothers, Michael Fair, Orville Buford; sisters, Nikki Fair, Tracey, Melinda, Stacey Carter, Shamus Stevens; "special brothers", Chad Montgomery, Douglas Hurst, Darrell Carr, Rodney Fords, J. R. Moore "Big Show", Wesley Saunders, Eric Newbauer, Eddie Sturgill, George Stafford "Bulldog", Brad Barham, Chris and Jackie Swann; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will gather in the parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, September 13, 2021. Big Dee "The King" will be laid to rest next to his mother at Monte Vista Memorial Park, 1900 East Oakland Avenue, Johnson City. Graveside Services are pending at this time. Brandon Fair, DeShawn Fair, David Fair, Darrell Carr, Eric Newbauer, Douglas Hurst, Wesley Saunders and Brad Barham will serve as his pallbearers.
