Billy R. Massey

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He loved Tennessee sports, golfing, hiking and traveling. He was a former fireman for the City of Knoxville at Fire Station #3. Bill was the owner and operator of Action Electric Co, Inc. for 27 years. He was a member of Cherokee Masonic Lodge for 56 years, a member of Scottish Rite of Knoxville for 51 years and lifetime member of Kerbela Shrine Temple.

Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, JoAnn Massey; daughter, Teresa Massey Aldridge; parents, William K. Massey and Bertha Massey; and brothers, David Massey and Harold Massey.

He is survived by daughter, Angie (Phillip) Reed; son, Jeff (Sherry) Massey; grandchildren, Chris (Lindsey) Reed, Corey (Brittany) Reed, Shay Massey, Tanner Massey, Tucker Massey, Anna Jo Aldridge and Blake Aldridge; great-grandchildren, Charis Reed, Leena Reed, Julian Aldridge, Connor Reed, Hayden Morgan and Micah Morgan; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Kuniko Neal.

The family will have a private graveside service.
