Billy Gene Testerman

Billy Gene “Bill” of Sevierville, returned to his Heavenly home on February 1, 2023, at the age of eighty-nine. Bill was stationed with the Army in Europe during the Korean War. He was a telephone lineman by trade. After retirement from BellSouth, Bill enjoyed shooting sports, motorcycle rides, aviation events, and travel. Bill is predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Lucille Testerman; sister, Charlene Testerman; and wife of fifty-nine years, Cathy. Bill is remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike (Jenny) Testerman of Knoxville, TN ; grandchildren, Jason Testerman of Montgomery, AL; Becky (Andrew) Quilliams of Seymour, TN; John Michael and Katie (fiancé, Cabe Kiser) Testerman of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Will and Olivia Testerman of Knoxville, TN, Savannah, Piper, and Jaxson Testerman of Montgomery, AL; and John Quilliams of Seymour, TN. He is also survived by his sister, Belva (Art Jr.) Downey, sister-in-law, Evelyn Ricketts and several nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends for a Visitation on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Berry Highland South from 2pm-4pm with a Funeral Service to follow starting at 4pm. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South Cemetery in the Garden of Valor on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 3pm for a Graveside Service. Condolences are welcome at BerryHighlandSouth.com.
