Bonnie Kate Crisp Thomas

Thomas, Bonnie Kate Crisp, age 90, life long resident of South Knoxville passed away August 18, 2017 and is now in Heaven dancing with her husband and praising the Lord. She was a graduate of Young High School Class of 1945 and attended the University of Tennessee. Bonnie was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and a member of Willing Workers Sunday School Class and the Senior Adults fellowship group. She retired from Millers Department Store with almost 30 years of service. Preceded in death by husband of 38 years, Orgyle B. Thomas; parents, Lestal E. and Lela Mae Gideon Crisp; brother, Neil E. Crisp; sister, Mary Jo Hampton; niece, Sharon Gore; grandparents, Henry and Lula Drake Crisp and John and Bertie Jane Ballard Gideon. Survived by daughters, Bonnie Thomas Chaffin and Becky and husband Perry Roberts of Knoxville; sons, Steve and wife Kay Thomas of Seymour; Brian and wife Lisa Thomas of Maryville. Grandchildren, Candace Chaffin (Jay) Robins, Andrea Thomas (Pat) Baker, Stephen Thomas, Tim (Shannon) Cupp, Cameron Thomas and many great and great great grandchildren. Sister in law, Mary Frances Crisp. Many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be Monday, August 21, 2017 at Berry Chapel at 8 pm. Family and friends will meet at 10 am Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Berry Funeral Home and proceed to Mount Olive Cemetery for an 11 am graveside service.
