Carl Edward Lawson

Carl Edward Lawson, age 101, of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Carl was a USMC Veteran and served in WWII. He worked for many years as Chief Engineer at WTVK. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Florence Lawson; son, Alan Lawson; parents, Horace and Melvina Lawson; siblings, Ana Lou Webb, Gladys Baumgardner, Bertha McCall, Robert Lawson and Clarence Lawson.

Carl is survived by siblings, Bill, Harold, Ralph and Russell Lawson, Jeanette Breeden; sisters-in-law, Anna Mae and Shirley Lawson; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at
