Carol will be missed. She was a blessing to all she met. Great was her faithfulness. She has been healed by The Great Physician. Rest in Peace.

To the family and friends of Carol, please accept my deepest condolences at this very difficult time in your lives.  She was an inspiration to so many through her many talents and abilities.  I first met Carol when I returned from military service in 1968 to my home church, South Knoxville Baptist, where her dad, Luther was the choir director.  Our paths have crossed in so many ways through the years as I have continued to be in close contact with her parents and Luther, my singing buddy.   You have been and will continue to be in my prayers in the coming days.  She is in God's wonderful care now  and completely healed.  I am so very sorry for your loss.

I knew Carol a long time.   From when her dad taught the children’s choir at south knoxville Baptist Church  to  when we had choir together in high school  and had her dad as our choral director. Greg, Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy as you mourn the loss of your best friend.  The love shared between you and Carol was evident when I first met you at work. While we know Carol rests in the arms of Jesus, the pain of her loss is unimaginable. I am praying for you during this very difficult time. Us folks in the neighborhood will surely miss her.  Always with a smile on her face and more than happy to chat with anyone and everyone.  Can't believe that only two weeks ago she was out in the sunshine mowing her lawn on her big ol' riding mower,  just smiling the whole time.  She was a special lady.

I knew Carol in high school and loved having her as a friend. We sang together in chorus under her dad’s direction….Carol and her dad were wonderful people as the whole Johnson family. I lost touch with Carol after high school, but I never forgot my fond memories of her. I know she will be missed greatly by her husband and her family and her fur babies. My prayers are with Carol’s entire family.

Carol is one of the truly kindest of women our family has known. Carol and Greg are not only our beloved neighbors, they are part of our family. They were honored guests at both our daughters’ weddings, and Carol was a special guest at our daughter’s baby shower. Her love of Greg is deep and forever. You could see it in her bemused look when Greg would dance at weddings to the two of them sitting in their chairs in their driveway at the end of the day sharing a moment. And she always spoke of her great love for her family in Knoxville. We will miss her so very much.
